"Life changes, doesn’t it?"

Click here to listen to Dr. Joey tell his story!

I’m not that old—despite what my daughters think—but I’ve seen a lot of changes in my life. Take for instance, photographs. When I was a kid, pictures were black and white, tiny about 2x2, the edges looked like they were cut out with pinking shears, and it took forever to get them back. Now, of course they’re all color, you can get any size you want with 4x6 pretty standard, use photo paper you buy yourself, and stick in a computer printer that you put your memory card or stick in and minutes later, you have your picture! And you can email it to anyone anywhere on this face of planet instantly!

It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? That much change has taken place in such a few years—okay maybe more than a few. And we’re just talking about photography? We could also talk about telephones, refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, dishwashers, stoves and microwave ovens, and the list just goes on and on.

You know, during all of this change, one thing hasn’t changed: God and our need for God. We print pictures differently, but we pray the same. So listen to life today and make a life, not just a living.
