Tornadoes ripped through portions of Florida in the middle of the night, leaving death and destruction in their wake. Life will never be the same for many, many people.

One of those people was a woman who had moved to that area of Florida from New Orleans. Her previous home was destroyed by the flooding left by Hurricane Katrina. So here’s a woman who has had the misfortune of losing her home not once, but twice.

A television crew interviewed her and she said, "Well, I found a life after Katrina. I’ll have a life after this, too."
Every one of us experiences such times in life. This woman is a testament to the strength of the human spirit that God puts within you. Persistence in the face of negative circumstances is the only pathway to positive results. Such persistence is evidence of your faith that God is with you no matter how hard the winds blow around you.

So as the winds howl around you today, think of this woman’s faith and have a life as you listen to life.
