I don’t have to tell you how challenging the job market is right now. I hadn’t really thought about how the scarcity of jobs affects college students until just recently. A coed about to graduate in May is really stressing out about what she’s going to do when she graduates. She’s completed dozens of applications, called just about anyone that she can network with in her chosen field, and still no job. You can imagine her feelings of no control, of helplessness, of being alone in all of this.

But then she had an experience recently that rearranged her totally. In a worship experience, she watched a video about how your DNA is held together with a unique, sticky stuff that’s found no where else. This showed her how much God cared about her, even down to her DNA.

From that moment, she says, she knew God is on the job with her, helping her find “the job;” converging resources, and doing it all out of love for her.

Like my friend, remember you’re not alone or helpless. God is with you today and every day as you
make a life and a living.
