"Do you take it easy?"

A family was traveling together—a mom, a dad, and their four-year-old son. They stopped to spend the night in a hotel. They brought all of their luggage in. Then they started putting together the cot for the little boy to sleep in.

You know how you get a little tired when you’re traveling? And how your patience isn’t so great when you’re tired? Well, that’s how this mom and dad were feeling—tired and impatient.

So as they started putting this cot together, they had very different ways of wanting to put it together. And of course, both of them were right. So they started, shall we say, exchanging words. Okay, they started arguing.
This went on for a few minutes. Then all of a sudden, their four-year-old son hops up in between them and says, "Hey guys, take it easy now. Let’s just settle down, okay?"

I’m thinking the world would be a lot more peaceful if more of us took this little guy’s advice and would just take it easy and settle down. Ask God to help you take it easy and settle down especially when you’re tired and impatient today.
